A warm welcome

A handsome Georgian townhouse, The Meirionnydd has been providing comfortable rooms and good food for nearly one and a half centuries.

Several years of careful restoration and refurbishment have built on these historic roots. Stunning period features have been restored and enhanced to create a warm modern country feel, simple and reassuring with a relaxed atmosphere.

From January 24th 2012 we will be continuing this process for a period of about four weeks.

This will involve the combination of ‘Cymer’ and a staff bedroom to create ‘Mawddach’, a large suite similar to ‘Meirion’ as well as a refurbished restaurant and kitchen.

During these four weeks there will be a certain amount of noise and disruption between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday; this will be kept to a minimum as much as possible. The restaurant will be closed around the first two weeks in February and on some days there will be a cold buffet style breakfast only with no hot options, we will advise accordingly if telephoned and on confirmation.
